In what has been a tough year for so many people in so many ways, maybe it's time for a bit of colour and light. Here goes.

    Many years ago much to our sons amazement we bought a Trachycarpus fortuneii in a pot and decorated it as our christmas tree for that year.
    It did look brilliant...and the sons agreed...with very delicate golden decorations.
    As we look out into our garden now we can see that plant growing so well after many decades and it still gives us a smile to think that it was once our family christmas tree.
