At last I've managed to close my Amazon account and open a new one without my mobile phone number, just the landline. So they sent me an email with a link which worked. Presents are now ordered for Son 2's 4 children.

There’s another group of yellow orchids what appear in spring. I’ve missed them this year. 🙄.

Wonky’s Lovely Hub was given compassionate leave so he could accompany her to the vet. The vet confirmed that she’d made the kindest decision.  Her other cat (Harrie) has some Feliway working so hopefully Flatters’ absence isn’t too worrying for her.  Wonky thanks you all for your kind thoughts 🙏

  • Thank you @Dovefromabove . (Thought I had posted this ages ago. Woops 😁)
  • Sorry to hear about Flatters'. @WonkyWomble.
  • @Busy-Lizzie 🙋‍♀️  We've both achieved something today ... after24 hours of total recalcitrance on their part, I've managed to get my laptop and iphone to talk to each other and accept the same password for my email

Afternoon folks,  Sad news about Flatters @WonkyWomble but he had a few good years with you and I suspect he wouldn't have survived so long or been so comfortable without you.
I find it so frustrating when passwords don't work, especially when you have trouble changing them.  Glad you got it sorted @Busy-Lizzie
I've made my Christmas pud this morning and it's steaming away in the kitchen.  Despite that I feel very miserable this morning Secondborn is having problems sorting Christmas out re the boys.  Despite them being with his family for the past two Christmasses he is insisting that they stay with him Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  I don't normally interfere but Secondborn is feeling very insecure at the moment so I've told her not to be bullied and put her foot down.  Off to pick up the boys from school this afternoon and then stay over to look after them tomorrow.
Enjoy your day folks despite the lousy weather (I'm assuming it's a nice day in your neck of the woods @Pat E )

@Yviestevie ... no matter how civilised we try to make it, separation always brings 'power play' into the equation ........ I sometimes think that even with so-called 'amicable separations' there should be some sort of compulsory child-focussed mediation and a binding agreement to lay down the ground rules.  Sad ... I hope that whatever happens and however it happens the children and their individual parents have a lovely time.
