We saw the thunder snow on TV Fairy. Very odd.  You’re right about the rain not being enough for us, but we will take whatever we can get. Everything is really dry.

Sorry Obelixx, I missed you there. I hope your knee settles and that poor Bozo can be helped.
It’s so nice having the temperature down enough to have the air con off for a change.

The darned computer left the “n” out of Bonzo’s name.  Sorry.

  • Good morning all  :) ☕Shh

All out of sync here as OH had an early start ... it's a 'long day' at work and he'll be back late so no pizzas tonight ... I'm making a sort of Scotch Broth with the remains of yesterday's neck of lamb hotpot ... lots of veg and dumplings to pad it out, and it'll be ready whatever times he walks through the door.  :)  In the meantime I've got the studio to myself so I can get on with his birthday card Shhhh!

Hope Bonzo can be sorted quickly @Obelixx, and that your knee settles down.

    Hello all,
@Obelixx I hope Bonzo  has a successful trip to the bone doctor.  Best wishes  :)
    Morning @Dovefromabove, afternoon @Pat E
  • Good morning all,

Nice to see you back and chirpy as ever @Fairygirl. 😊

@Obelixx, hope your knee starts to feel better soon, not good for a 27 year old. 😉
I might try your pudding recipe, sounds very nice.
@Dovefromabove I might do a version of your soup too with my leftover lamb from Curry night.

All went marvelously well, everyone happy, good feedback on social media and messages so that's a relief. In the Tearoom we always check everyone is ok at the table, bit tricky with a takeaway, I do worry about how well stuff travels, but all good.

Lots of cream teas going out today.  Going to try and get a day off tomorrow, but the weather is horrible so not sure what I can do.

Right, back to baking, good day to you all.  😘

  • Interesting @D0rdogne_Damsel about sending food out. When we were cooking for the family (not on your scale of course) when lockdown came back my wife found doing meal they could take away much more stressful.
    Have a good day all.

Hello all, not doing much today, apart from our usual walk and doing some washing. We've had heavy rain overnight and it's still cold.

Hope Bonzo's treatment works @Obelixx and that your knee stops throbbing. OH's bad knee is as bad as ever, despite doing his exercises.

Glad the takeways were much appreciated @Dordogne_Damsel, time for a rest perhaps.

Nice to hear from you again @Fairygirl, but glad we don't have your weather.

Pic of OH's dessert (treacle pudding) yesterday, the only one we took I'm afraid. Haven't got into this Instagram habit of photoing food.
