Morning all, a lovely warm sunny day promised here. @Pat E what a joy to see your rescue Joey, reminded me of when I used to volunteer at a wildlife centre in the Uk, just the fact that people could be bothered to bring in injured or homeless wildlife was a joy, and then to ring to find out how they were. Hugs and best wishes to all, and stay safe!
Yes I can @nannybeach ... I could jump too, if only my knees were better behaved Have a look at that website and give them a ring, ... their staff are wonderful at doing fittings over the phone. Â
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all, Grey morning here but at least it's dry. I've been to SM as Firstborn sent me a list of things she couldn't get for Christmas Day. Have managed to bridge the gaps but lets just say they aren't M&S Finest.Â
Gabriel was taken into hospital last night with his breathing. They have treated him and are letting him out this morning. It's been a bit of a nightmare as it's the funeral of Secondborn's ex husband this morning so she's been up all night in hospital with Gabriel and is now on her way to the funeral. My Hubby is looking after the boys, Lord help him if he has to do a Nappy change. I'm going to be doing some cleaning as the house is a bit of a tip. Stay safe everyone.
Hello @Yviestevie, sorry to hear that Gabriel is again poorly and that Secondborn is exhausted and stressed. Look after yourselves as well. It's grey and cloudy here but warm. Just done our usual walk and may go out for a drive later, boredom is kicking in. Far too wet in the garden to do anything. Got to brave the hospital as well to pick up more hearing aid batteries, I' m down to two left. Hope your son appreciated the dawn chorus @Dovefromabove
They kept GD in over night & have run some scans. Her mum & dad are going to pick her up. There doesn't seem to be any firm conclusion so far but symptoms have gone away.Â
Commiserations, sympathy and big hugs for all of you dealing with loss, illness or other distress in your families, especially children.  It would be hard at the best of times but all the more so now.
Grey and mis here but not actually wet yet.  Chooks are on fine form and will now peck food from my fingers but occasionally miss and get me.  The garlic is now all thru and the shallots are starting to show but the broad beans are still shy. PSB and cavolo nero looking good.
Japanese quince just starting to flower and the mimosa trees are about to burst their buds. On the other hand, weeds flourishing too and far too soggy to go and deal with them.
@Nanny Beach running is not a natural activity for anyone over a B cup IMHO, even with the best sports bra.
