Only ever had one bad reaction from a jab, smallpox when I was 12. Arm swelled up like an elephant's leg with a pus volcano and I was delirious with fever for several days. Must have worked though as I didn't catch smallpox. Hope that hasn't put anyone off getting any of their vaccinations, I will be getting the pneumonia one next month followed by Covid in Feb/March I expect.
Thanks @Dovefromabove but he's not home yet, tomorrow is the day.
I've been busy today as daughters are coming to collect their things, daughter 1 arrives tomorrow and will need to stay the night, 5 of them, so I've made beds, vacuumed and prepared for meals. Don't want to leave everything until tomorrow when OH is home.
I also had my 'flu jab this afternoon.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
That sounds very organised @Busy-Lizzie. Have you got to collect OH from the airport? Best wishes for a very happy reunion and good times with your daughters.
Oh dear @Busy-Lizzie 😊 ... as I think I’ve said before, dates were never my strong point. I was once two centuries out in a school history exam 🙄 Hope he has a good flight and you get him home safe and sound very soon 🤗
