Morning all, woke up at 4.30, by the dog throwing up just by the bedroom door, imediately got to work with the quick scrub carpet cleaner, then the old man had to get the shampooer from the shed, thankfully, we are detached because it's really noisy, will be ringing the vet again at 8.
There are times when I read stuff on here that makes me very glad that we no longer have any pets 🤢, much as we loved ours when we had them. Hope the vet can sort yours out PDQ @Nanny Beach !
Its OH’s birthday today ... he’s had his card 😎 but as he has to work today he’s opening presents and celebrating properly tomorrow, but tonight there will be pizza !!! 🍕

I imagine that I'll be in a tiny minority on here (and amongst the entire population to boot) but I fully intend to spend my entire life in households without the presence of cats or dogs I appreciate that they bring benefits to owners' quality of life but I know that would be more than compensated for, with me, by the stress of mess, destruction, smell, illness, etc. etc.
I hope that all your current issues with pets resolve themselves quickly and apologise for my curmudgeonly mood this morning
I loved having dogs when I lived on the farm and smallholding ... many tails to tell about Hodge, Boss and Yo-yo eh @WonkyWomble ... but my sort of dogs (temperament as well as size) need outdoor space so this house, (with a skiddy parquet floor and art work propped up throughout the house as well as in the studio) is not suitable for lively canines.

Afternoon everyone. It's bright and sunny today, after just one heavy shower. We're enjoying looking after daughter's cat but don't think we'll get another pet. Hope Bonzo gets better @Obelixx, be interesting to find out if the meds work for you too. Sorry you are so low @Yviestevie girls are too, it's tough being a mum and not being able to fix things. I thought though it was just testing the schools were having to do, not the vaccines. Surely it's up to the Heads and Governors to organise that, not the teachers?
Glad you enjoyed your day out Dove. We're not going to hug next week but it will be hard not to.
It's very hard to keep our distance from those we love so much @Lizzie27 ... particularly hard yesterday, visiting my brother who is so ill, and my sister in law who is doing her best to keep the family's spirits up and everyone as healthy as possible. Hard too, seeing Wonky and her brother ... I've seen them so seldom this year ... thank the heavens for t'internet and mobile phones etc.
Thank you everyone for OH's birthday wishes 😀
