Yeah Dove, I get it. To be honest, I didn’t even see the typo. 😂

    Afternoon.

I’ll be having a PJ day today as back to work tomorrow and it’s going to be a hard week. Currently I am scheduled to be off Christmas weekend, but obviously I will work if needed.

Special celestial event tomorrow, on the Winter Solstice, is the great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. For those interested:

  • Grrr! 😡 you know how someone’s washing machine always goes wrong just before Christmas... well, you can all relax ... this year it’s our turn ... I’ve left a message on the repair man’s answerphone ... 🙄

Not good @Dovefromabove.   With us it's usually the dishwasher failing just when we have a houseful of guests.  Not a problem this year obviously.

Strange day here.  Supposed to be wild and stormy but that's all gone away somewhere and we're left with periods of brilliant sun interspersed with darkness as heavy clouds roll slowly by.   Tree decorating for me today.

Bonzo is much better today which is a relief.  Hope yours is too @Nanny Beach

Glad you finally found OH @Busy-Lizzie .  That will be a huge relief I'm sure and a comfort.

Thanks for that link @AuntyRach .  Let's hope the skies are clear.   I hope the next few weeks aren't too hard for you, your team and all others trying to save lives.

Whats up with the washing machine Dove?  I thought it's central heating boilers that give up round about now LOL
  • Won’t pump out ... all lights flashing ... turned it off and on again at the plug as instructed by the book but nothing doing. Next step in book is to call repair number. 🙄

Ours did that last summer @Dovefromabove.   I pulled it out, emptied what water I could, checked the filter etc etc. but no joy so still had to call for help. Turns out an elasticated hairband had slipped thru into the pump and tied itself in knots.   Fortunately no damage.
