    Morning all,

Not quite sure what I'm doing up at this time :o OH has just left for work so I could return to bed for the morning :D

Had a few hours without rain yesterday afternoon so I got my raspberry canes planted and shifted a couple of rose bushes. Not overly bothered if they survive as I've got a dozen cuttings ready for when the newly designed 2021 front garden takes shape.

Managed a 4-mile run in the dark after that so could be due a lazy Sunday.

  • Morning all dull and wet, unlikely to be doing any gardening today.

  • Same here @Allotment Boy ... I’ve got some tomato and bean soup chuntering on the hob ... OH is getting ready to go to work ... I’ve prepped the veg for supper to go with lamb chops. The house is as clean and tidy as it needs to be  ... I shall spend the day with the Archers, then probably a novel,  my knitting and maybe a film on the telly. You’re all welcome to join me on the sofa ... it’s a nice big one ... we’ll take turns makings teas and coffees 🛋

Morning. Pouring rain here. At least it’s not freezing cold.

Still in PJs here - not a huge amount of motivation to change. Might do some wrapping and baking later. Have a good day all.

    Morning all.

I'm going to a Carol Service this afternoon. I've arranged evergreen and berry sprays from the garden with silk poinsettias in 2 tall vases to decorate the church. We are only allowed 30 people, usually between 100 and 150, had to be invitation only.

More rain here and looks set for the day. Eldest is off out for a walk with her Uncle/Aunt/dog but I think I might stay indoors other than a quick (fingers crossed) tip trip.

After all, there is a lot of footy on the TV today ;)

  • Hello everyone.  Rain just beginning again here... so yes please, @Dovefromabove - if you've room on your sofa for a little one, count me in!  :)   Hubby's watching the All-Ireland Hurling Championship finals, which doesn't exactly grab me...
PS  I can bring some Tiffin.  Saves eating too much of it myself.   :o
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Looks like a day on the sofa for most people today - us included. Did manage our usual walk this morning which wasn't very nice in pouring rain but at least I got some exercise. Woke up at 4.30 am worrying about daughter and whether we can find somewhere for her to live. Having a cat does complicate matters as most landlords won't allow them.
On the plus side, I have just had a lovely bright red jumper delivered from Debenhams which had been missing for nearly a fortnight and one of OH's Xmas presies, nice black leather gloves (he lost one of the current pair a few weeks ago.) I've also had two books delivered, a second hand English Dictionary to keep by my chair for when I'm posting on here and a glossy book on F1 Racing, also for OH.  One more parcel from Debenhams, and I'm done.
