Those cakes are absolutely stunning @D0rdogne_Damsel ⛄️

I’ll have one of each 😋

@AuntyRach . Hopefully you will be called in soon.  My understanding is that the vaccine is now being offered first to all those 80 and over already in hospital or attending as an outpatient, then the staff in that hospital will be done next, followed possibly by care home residents/staff as soon as permission comes through from the regulators to split dosage packs.

    Fab cup cakes DD.
Spent some much needed time in the garden, but I have done something to my back again and now I can't move.

  • Oh dear @punkdoc ... gently does it ... I prescribe one of these 🥃 at bedtime, maybe one or two a bit earlier as well, good pain relief 😉

    Morning folks.
My daughter had the vaccine yesterday. She works in intensive care so is one of the first lot to be done.
A nice malt is definitely good for pain relief. :)

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️
I hope your back is easier today @punkdoc ... it’s so easy to strain something when you’ve been busy doing other stuff or convalescing etc.
OH is at home now for a couple of days ... it’s his ‘weekend’. I’ll make a shin of beef casserole for supper 😋

Morning everyone. Still no rain here, but the clouds look promising.
Thinking of you Punkdoc.  Hope it eases a bit.

  • Morning all , evening @Pat E.  Hope back better @punkdoc. The beef casserole sounds delicious @Dovefromabove . Coincidentally I bought beef yesterday to make a slow cooked lentil/grain/beef kind-of-stew. It's heavily spiced/ marinaded and is one of those traditional indian/pakistani dishes  that takes forever to cook, so a project for a couple days. Doesn't look especially appetising but tastes amazing and as with most of these slow cook things  -- reheats even better so I try and make a batch and freeze portions when I'm feeling up to it.
Kindness is always the right choice.
  • Sounds good @Desi_in_London ... my ex DIL is from Bashkortostan and cooks something very similar. 😋
