Right. I’m up and we are going to town since we are without power today from 9-4. 😡 More work on the power lines I assume, since they don’t tell us why it’ll be off.

Well the power didn’t come back on as notified. I waited for a while, thinking we might need to go back to town for a meal, but rang the power company and was advised it will come back on at 6.15.  After thinking about it for a while, we settled for a can of smoked trout, salad, and wrapped in flat bread. All done and rather enjoyed, sitting looking at the blank tv screen, but happy. 😃

    Morning and G’day.

I would be grumpy without power. We are due gas works soon, so no doubt disruptions, and my heating, hot water and stove are gas 😡

    Have a good day all.

    Bake Off Final tonight! 🍰

  • Morning folks - @D0rdogne_Damsel hope injury free ( other than pride!) when you get up today. @Pat E enjoy a well deserved home brewed cuppa ( I must be ultra fussy but I don't like tea from outside , plump for coffee most of the time if i have to have it out)

    Morning all.

I'm off to the glass bin then the supermarket. I haven't been to the SM, Leclerc, for nearly 4 weeks, though I did buy some fruit and veg in the village shop. The village shop is twice the price and very limited. No fresh milk, only sterilised. Looking forward to fresh milk. Tea isn't the same without it.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
