Thanks folks. I'd seen 2 or 3 hours so was contemplating doing it by the light of the back porch window :D Tomorrow morning is far more sensible :)

  • Foggy damp start to the day here when the sun finally came it was quite pleasant. I didn't go to Capel today I decided that my own jobs were priority this time, got to the allotments & planted out my garlic. I had planted onions, & shallots 2-3 weeks ago but put the garlic in modules to get them started.  What happened to global warming and the heat island effect of London? all my dahlias are blackened, & will go soggy, so next visit will be cutting them down.
I saw the Frank Gardener documentary first time excellent.

  • Watched Autumnwatch and tried to stay awake for Frank Gardner but couldn’t ... it’s recording and I’m in bed. Night night all ... sleep tight 😴

I watched Frank Gardner tonight, what a brave man.

I did some gardening this afternoon. I cut down half the perennials in the long border, weeded and raked it. Where did those nettles come from, they weren't there last year. Hard to get motivated when I'm moving house but it was a lovely sunny day.

hello to anyone still awake. We’ve got a cool sunny day here. We’ll probably go to town for something to do. 😃 luckily there are no lockdowns here.  Victoria had most of them.  No reports of any incidence in the district so we are keeping our fingers crossed that it stays that way.   Stay positive and happy everyone.

What we need is a Tardis @Pat E 🤣. Love cold roast pork ... lots of English mustard, or even better, piccalilli 😋  we often have it with a buttery jacket potato too.
