Good morning all 😊 ☕️ waving at you @Pat E 👋 it’s a beautiful morning ... a pink sunrise spreading across the sky, and the roofs and branches white with frost ... it’s very quiet outside ... no traffic in the distance, lockdown has begun ... again 🙄

Morning Dove. We’ve been trying to avaoid TV all day. Not easy, but Hubby found a way to tune into a program on early Tasmania. Took our minds off US rubbish. 🙄
Hubby has belly pork in the oven which I think must be nearly ready by the odours wafting around. 😜. Will let you know soon, I think.
Making good progress in the garden too. Focusing on it is helping with lockdown blues. I've actually decided that autumn is the best time for clearing and swapping things around too. So much easier to get to plants now they've lost a lot of their leaves and even the weeds are weedy as it were. I'm being quite mercenary in some parts, everything here gets so much bigger than it would in the UK climate, out of control at times so I don't think a good chopping back will do much harm.
Glad to hear you're ok despite long hours and tricky times. 🙄
And @punkdoc, hello too. Sometimes if I'm too busy to write on here or have nothing worth saying I just try and find time to read back, I am struggling with sleep at the moment, and find just reading about the rhythm of these familiar lives reassuring and oddly comforting, life goes on. I do hope you start to feel brighter soon. Nearly spring - honest. 🙄😁
Charlie has been helping in the garden too, half day Wednesday, he's so happy to be able to reach the pedals of the mower now, how time has flown. Sorry, sound like an overly doting mother . Have a good day all. 😘😘

Morning all/afties @Pat E - glad you enjoyed your dinner. Especially good when someone else makes it isn't it? I don't know if anyone has seen something that's being repeated tonight on BBC2, but if you can - record it and prepare to be uplifted and humbled in equal measure. The incredible Frank Gardner has a documentary at 9pm about disability, but the programme about his search to see birds of paradise is on at 11.30. It's one of the best things I have ever seen. For anyone thinking they're a bit hard done by, it's an eye opener.
Dank and wet here, but it's to clear up so I might get on outside later. Got the laurel out, so a bit of prep needed before getting the other stuff in. A good chopping back is good for the soul @D0rdogne_Damsel - and for the muscles
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
