That’s quite some social life you’re having @Busy-Lizzie
    😉

Thanks for the heads up @AuntyRach 👍

A KitKat @Busy-Lizzie? How very dare you. ;)
I love KitKats - my favourite choccy biccy. Haven't had one in ages. The girls brought me mint Aero though, so that's me happy.  :)
Been nice here too @AuntyRach. Bright and autumnally pleasant. I think we're getting some clouds tonight though.

  • Evening all,
    Happy Birthday @Fairygirl

Happy anniversary @chicky , hope you're meal is good.

Managed a whole afternoon in the garden, it doesn't look like I've done much, there wasn't much to do, but I seem to have the biggest pile of garden rubbish....🤔

I've bought some sweet pea seeds too and my Geums arrived with my new salvia, Royal Bumble, Mrs Bradshaw and Totally Tangerine Geums. They all look nice and healthy. Managed to finally get some trellis up for my roses.
Exhausted now. Reading Rebus from the first book, Knots and Crosses, I do like a good murder. 😁

    Enjoy your evening all,

Thank you @D0rdogne_Damsel. I'll share the KitKats with @Busy-Lizzie   :)
The TV Rebus is very good - especially the later ones with Ken Stott.
I like a good murder too. A stock phrase here is - 'there's been a murder', from Taggart. The wonderful Chewin' the Fat guys took it a stage further with the failed actor Ronald Villiers, who had the even better catchphrase of 'I was a corpse in Taggart'. We used to do that all the time at work, and giggle like idiots.

I've seen all the Ken Stott TV programmes, loved them. Funnily enough saw him in a film the other night too, Man Up, a romantic comedy. He was funny but gosh he'd put a lot of weight on.

We both enjoy Val McDermid’s novels.

We managed to get 2.5mm rain last night. Der!  It is cool and cloudy this morning, but it’s obviously not much use crossing my fingers. Doesn’t work apparently. 🙄

Im glad those of you celebrating with chocolatey things have enjoyed yourselves. Rather a tempting cake there DD. 😜

Spanish Bluebells and Lily of the Valley. (Yes, I know Obelixx, but we like them and they’re well behaved in this garden bed 🙄)
