It is a fair old trek to the sea from there though.
That’s what we thought - but you can definitely make out the Windmills (Rampion windfarm) off the coast at Shoreham. Not sure how Tennyson managed to see the sea without that clue though - he must have had bl@@dy good eyesight 🤓🤓🤓
Planted some daffs bulbs yesterday morning in the very fine rain, did the hill sprints in steady rain and then retired indoors during the heavy rain. A few dry periods would be nice today but I'm not optimistic.
Morning all/afties @Pat E. Hope you get your rain. Damp and clarty here, after the temp dropping. Yes - it usually means dirty, manky etc, but we like to be inventive @Lizzie27 - I missed you saying about your daughter. That sounds quite worrying, but I hope you get to the bottom of it. Those pix are lovely @chicky. A shame you didn't get views yesterday, but that stone is beautiful. I love that kind of thing. There's one in Glen Etive, en route to Starav and the other hills there, which is heartbreaking, as it's dedicated to a mother and daughter. There's something very special about finding those. Your photo is beautiful too @steephill. So simple, but says so much I was really joking about Dave, but now I actually want to try it Mane taming for me today. I still feel very odd about going in.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

More meetings today, real panic seems to be setting in, I am getting quite good at this ZOOM thingy though.
