Took advantage of a few minutes sunshine and popped out to pick some Swiss Chard for tonight’s supper. That’s been washed now and I’ve peeked and chunked our smallest Uki Hokkai squash and slathered it with light olive oil ... we’ll roast that with some little parboiled potatoes in their skins and eat it tonight with pantries duckbreasts and apple sauce.
While I was out there I spotted a clump of toadstools we’ve not seen here before ... pretty sure it’s not honey fungus ... I’ve started an ID thread for it ... anyone got any ideas?
Afternoon. Just come in from trimming Lavender and making an Autumn arrangement (will put on Jam Jar Flowers 2020 thread). A sunny day here - the colours are looking beautiful.
Happy Birthday @biglad 🎈🎉🍾🎂 hope you are enjoying your day.
