That's how I see it @punkdoc. The phrase 'caught between a rock and a hard place' was never more apt.  :/
Don't know if you can get The Adventure Show - but there was a special the other day, featuring Donnie Campbell's record breaking Munro run. Knackering just watching the footage!
@Lizzie27 - I can understand exactly. As the parent of two autistic children, it isn't always easy to manage. Glad all is well.  :)
Turned out quite pleasant here later on, and the wind has dropped.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • I think they may be hoping that school half term will act as a circuit breaker. No one is saying it but schools & colleges are driving transmission rates far more than hospitality venues, but hospitality is non essential so it's an easy target.

    Evening.

I hope the meetings were productive @punkdoc. I’m feeling a bit nervous about the rising infections in hospitals, not least because some of my team are genuinely worried that they can’t go through it again.

I’m glad you had a good catch-up with your daughter @Lizzie27 - have a chill tonight.

I’ve collected a big box of apples and made a few crumbles and a few tubs of lightly-stewed apples, all to freeze. Correction: not all to freeze as there is one crumble in the oven now! I have enough to do more another day but I have run out of butter for now.

I hope everyone is doing ok. Don’t forget Bake Off later - it’s chocolate week!
My garden and I live in South Wales.

Thanks @Fairygirl, I knew you'd understand. It's tricky sometimes as you say.

I heard them saying on the radio earlier that Prue comes up with the line 'it's beautiful but inedible' - or words to that effect. I wonder which poor soul is getting that comment!  :D
I've been cleaning the oven. My life is one long party....

Hi Dove. A bit late on parade today.

I’ve tried to help the person with the bottlebrush problems.  I can’t help thinking that various TLC type actions might succeed.  They’re pretty tough.

    Still waiting for our rain.🤬

So does mine Dove😁.  Excuse me if I doubt their ability to predict accurately. 🙄
