That Number 1. was a real sneaky one!
Chive, I meant to say about your Choisya flowering again, mine is too and I remember dear Joyce telling me this time last year that it is not unusual for Choisyas to have a second flush of flowers now.

Yay! - got a few of the dingbats but don't think I'd ever have got 10 Downing St or No Entry - very devious🙂

It's a date Rubee🙂 - red or white and what time's kick off?

Sorry you're still shivering Hazel - hopefully it'll be finished (sort of) today.

Debs - sorry to hear you're having a rough time. Nice to see you when you pop in.

Managed to speak to the heating engineers. They've persuaded somebody to swap appointments with me so service and repair date has been brought forward by a week. Have said I'll be happy to try to help the company out by swapping appts in the future if they ever need to do that. Only fair when they've been so accommodating with me.

Evening Everyone, Good quiz LB some tricky answers there,
LB Non stop rain it’s been indoor pursuits today, but still nice to have an extra day. Thank you that’s interesting about the Choisya, I hadn’t realised it could flower again later in the year. Hope Chey continues to improve, I miss my Bake off buddy 😀
Debs nice to see you I hope everything is ok with you fingers crossed,
T’bird That is good of them to ask someone to swap their dates to help you out,
Ok are we all round to Rubees to help christen the oven, what can I bring to the table? 😋🥧

Result T'Bird! Really pleased for you and I agree about helping them out if needed in the future.
Chive I'll tell Chey what you said. I am still getting over the hideous heads!

@Chivetalking I’m another Bake Off fan - although I usually watch it a day or two later. Still don’t like it as much as when it was on the Beeb. The standard is not as high is it? Those heads were truly dreadful!

Ooh that’s good @Topbird, agreed I liked it better with Mary & Paul. Sue & Mel were very good at keeping the bakers calm too, I’m not sure Noel has the same effect. The show stopper challenges have been very unusual so far haven’t they!
  • Evening everyone.
It's absolutely hissing down again now.
Thank you Rubee, I'll bring pudding! 😉
Thank you for the answers LB, I would never have got 10 Downing street or No entry! I got a few though so not too bad.
Didn't do much knitting today either,  the plastic arm bit in the cistern to make the handle flush broke this morning. So we popped out to get a new bit......we fixed it this afternoon. 🤗🤗
We all seem to be having problems things to do with water this week😕
Will get a wriggle on with the knitting over the weekend.
