  • Arm aches a bit Hazel, but not too bad. Have done a bit more to scarf today, stopped once arm started to ache.
Yes thankfully we were able to buy the part ourselves and OH was able to repair it, could have been quite a bit for just a small job. Good we've got more than one loo too.
Its raining here again, but we didn't get the awful winds that was forecast.

    Good morning all.
Sleepless night is behind us here. Massive storm stroke us last night with extremely heavy rain, hail and wind. My basement has even flooded. Thankfully no major damage but few buildings in the town are damaged.
Now is peaceful and sunny. Unbelievable.

Good morning LB! Have a nice day and good luck with virtual marathon.

Good morning Ante. Wow, I'm so sorry to hear about the storm. Will you be able to clear the water out of your basement? Just as you were looking forward to having a quiet day! I have seen the scenes around Nice, in France and I'm glad (in one way) that I missed out on my French trip this year as we intended going on October 1st. We were going to drive down, but even so the storms there would have affected our holiday.

Basement is clear now and water is out. My neighbourhood is on small hill and all water goes to the sea, but it was so much rain and it lasted over two hours. I think that I'll have few hours to rest today. My plants in the garden are damaged by hail.
