Iāve been for a walk with dad it was rather bright and sunny out. Ā I wasnāt wearing my trans vision lenses which I now appreciate how well they do work when I do wear them when the sun is shining. Ā Ā Iām waiting for my new glasses to be ready and wearing some ready readers in the interim. Ā It was a pleasant walk looking out for squirrels in a wooded area. Ā The forecast is set to get warmer for Wednesday. Ā Chive I hope your day is going okay and Nel will be waiting for you to get home. Ā Lily I hope a family member will bring you some hand wash.
That doesn't sound like a great day Yvie. Have you managed to get back in now? As for Gabriel š¤®. Poor little mite - he's been going through it too hasn't he? Hope it doesn't smell too awful.
Rosie - your walk in the sunshine sounds nice. Autumn walks are quite special aren't they?
Rubee - your OH isn't the only one with a wasp sting. My OH rolled over in bed Saturday night onto a wasp. Stung him right between the shoulder blades. It's nice and red and swollen now but he is resisting taking an anti histamine tablet. Why?š¤Ø
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Thankfully we're not in a restricted area. I've got a few hand sanitizer and handwash so will be ok for awhile. I'm sure someone in the family or friends would get some if we get desperate. Your walk sounds lovely Rosie, the woods near us are looking beautiful with the changing colours. Oh heck Hazel what a morning, cup of tea and cake sounds in order. Meant to say, hope you get to see 23 again soon. Yvie, hope little Gabriel is feeling better now bless him.Ā Ā And that you're back inside your home in the warm.
Hazel frustrating for you with the plumberās invoice. Ā As you say, it will be lovely watching the robin have a bird bath. Ā He may be back tomorrow. Ā Topbird to hear oh has been stung by a wasp. Ā I hope heās okay, not pleasant at all. Ā Lily I hope youāre both having a better day. Ā LB is Lily enjoying the warmth of the sun or is it still raining there?
Lily ,my OH bought a gallon container of hand wash on the big river site . He also purchased some small plastic bottles the same as you purchase the hand sanitizers in . I donāt think we will be needing to buy anymore for quite some time .
SIL came over, he still has a spare key. He passed Gabriel over to me and went to his meeting. I drove over to Secondborns to be ready to fetch Jonah from school. He is fine now. Just taking inhalers and steroids for a few days to make sure his airways stay open.Ā
Good grief! Not good days for either Hazel or Yvie. Hope your blood pressure has got back to normal Hazel and I hope you have managed to get into your house Yvie and that the upchuck in the car has been cleared away.
Rosie, it has been pouring down here since midday. Lily has been out on rat watch but the water proved too much for her so she rushed in, I've towelled her off and given her her tea. She has now assumed the power saving mode - as Chive called it - having seen her picture the other day and is cosy on the couch.
T'Bird, in answer to your question - because he's a man!
p.s. I should have said that it was not a good day for T'Bird's OH either!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
There is a veritable fest of quizzes on TV tonight so I'm going to sign out early to get my brain in gear. I'll see you all tomorrow and I'll give you the results of Saturday's Dingbats then.
