Good morning Ante (Rosie, I hope that you are asleep now). I'm late on parade this morning - another broken night. On a good note - its not raining yet!
    Welcome October

@Biglad, what match were you officiating at? I guess it was football. Two of my brothers are being very happy at the moment as the Toffees (Ante - Everton) are top of the league and the thrashings of Liverpool and Man U brought them deep joy. Wrong game, wrong game!!! My brother-in-law has been appointed Junior Vice President of the RFU for the 20-21 season and will move through until he becomes President down the line. Very proud of him. Both he, his sons and his son-in-law were/are all rugby players.

Good morning.  Lily/LB thank you I did go back to bed eventually.  LB I hope you have a better night tonight.  I’ve just walked into Rubees dining room and heard a dripping noise which was coming through the bowed ceiling.  We’ve turned the water off and put a bowl underneath.  The earliest we can get a call out is between 9-1pm tomorrow morning, COVID, engineers self isolating due to track and trace.  Ironically the gas inspection had only been cancelled by them this morning.

Hazel, thank you, the boiler is upstairs.  We think the leak could be under the boiler and the floor boards.  We’re hoping that the dripping will stop.  Things in the boiler are sodden.   Rubees oh has cleared out the boiler cupboard.

Hazel its the boiler that’s leaking . Water off electrics off .Dining room ceiling bulging and split . We may have to take the floor boards up on the landing .

Oh Rosie and Ruby, that is horrible for you all. Deary me. Thats the last thing you need at this stressful time. At least you have an engineer organised for tomorrow. Fingers crossed that everything today helps to improve the present situation. Thinking about you all x

    Morning all,

It was football I'm afraid @Ladybird4. I've never understood rugby but do watch big matches occasionally. I love the culture that surrounds it (compared to football) but was never big or brave enough to give it a try  :o
