Good afternoon everyone . Heating engineer has just left .Heating on ,we have cold water .Waiting now for a part . Apparently the left manifold , whatever that is ,has failed . We can cope for a while without hot water. At least we have heat .

Ruby I'm glad that at least you can keep warm and as Hazel says you can always boil the kettle for that very essential cup of tea. I hope that they are not too long in bringing the replacement part.

Hazel, your OH has been busy. How is your daughter, have you been able to see her or does she live in an area that is in lockdown. No, we haven't out the last few days, it's been absolutely pouring down all day today and so very windy. Have done quite a bit to Poppets scarf, not much more to go, probably finish it tomorrow. Having a rest from it this evening, think I'm a bit knitted out for today 😉😂
