  • We watch BBC too LB,  but occasionally  watch Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan can be annoying at times, but others he can be pretty accurate.
I've almost finished the scarf, could probably finish it today if I do any knitting this afternoon.
But I might go for a walk if the weather stays this beautiful.
Thank you Rosie, hope   you're sleeping better too.

Morning - cold but blue skies and sunshine so a cheering sort of day.

May do a little Col TT stuff this morning and then have an hour or so outside - some things are looking very bedraggled after the rain. Really need to cut the grass when it dries out enough.

Ooops - forgot to press post!

Well done on tackling that job LB - you can forget about it for another 5 years now😉😁

Hazel, I hope your grand daughter will be fine.  I agree with you, I think the universities should be online learning only at the present time to help decrease exposure.  LB I mainly watch the BBC too.
  • Oh Hazel, so sorry to hear about your granddaughter. I do hope your family stays well.
I agree about online studies for universities, far safer.
Take care Hazel, hope you get to see your family soon.

    Good evening all.

Hazel, I hope that everything will be alright with your granddaughter and that you will see her soon.

LB, great photo and quote from this morning. I feel the same. I'm glad that your parcel with bulbs came. Little bit risky move from your postman, but everything ended well. Enjoy planting them.

Friday finally and I'm exhausted. We have lovely weather last two days so I was at cottage yesterday afternoon. Found so many mushrooms and my basket was full.
Tomorrow is shopping day at nearby city. I need new shoes and trousers. Hate this🤮. At least I'll visit GC. Want to buy new persimmon tree and few more apples.

    Enjoy watching GW tonight.

Evening all. My nephew's 3 children were sent home last week from their secondary school because there were a few Covid positive students. The head closed the school! 1300 pupils and teachers affected by the closure. Nephew's children are really fed up as no sooner will they have finished their fortnight's quarantine and they will be on half term.
Ante, brace yourself and be a brave little soldier. We know you hate shopping but no-one can do it for you I hope that you find what you want at the GC.
I've got to walk up to the village tomorrow morning for my flu injection. I bet you any money it will be pouring down with rain.
