  • Morning everyone,
A beautiful sunny start to the day. The sun is streaming through the oak tree, making such beautiful colours and rays.
I'm going to sort through a spare bedroom and hopefully get rid of a few bits.
OH is going out with one of his friends for lunch, it will do him the world of good.
Have a good shopping trip Ante.
Chive, try and have a restful day.
LB hope you're able to get out in the garden.
Have a good day everyone, take care and stay safe.

Hello Chive, Ruby, SGL and Rosie
Chive, I donned my waterproof jacket and braved the rain to walk up to the village to get my flu injection. There and back in an hour - not bad going and I didn't get overly wet. I was toasty warm in the jacket too. Only had a tee shirt on to save juggling with gear so I quite enjoyed my walks. They had told me that they were doing the injections in the car park but the inclement weather meant we were directed into the surgery. As ever a super speedy conveyor type system.
Methinks its time for early elevenses.

Morning Rosie, yes I’m going to get the rotten jobs out of the way first, so I can enjoy a bit of leisure time later 😉 hope you have a good day,
LB Glad the flu injection went well, I hope you don’t suffer with any lasting after effects. Rest of the day is yours to enjoy, good start with a cuppa ☕️

LB when I went to the surgery yesterday.  Nearly everybody waiting, bar 2 including me, were for the flu jab, all coming out very quickly and were asked to take their coats off in the waiting area.  Chive, I’ve been doing some similar jobs too.  I’m just having a cup of tea now and going to watch the tennis shortly.

Chive ,we have heat but still no hot tap water . The shower is electric so we can still use it .Engineer coming on Monday to fix the new part . If that goes well ,we will be sorted .Glad that you didn’t get soaked going for your injection LB .Lily I have been sorting through some boxes that were stored in the boiler cupboard . Found stuff that I had completely forgotten about.

Afties all. This could be the kiss of death Chive but in all the years (16+) that I've been having flu injections, I have never suffered from any major after effects
I was just thinking that the rain had gone away and was about to go outside to do some tidying in the garden when it only started up again. I think the skies just wait until I am going out and they open. I'll get a quiz sorted out.
