I think more of you are of the wooden tops, bill and Ben and picture book era than are owning up to.

I did have a good day @Dovefromabove, thank you. I think you asked about the meal that OH took me out to, but I couldn't really tell you what was in it, unusual but delicious flavours, lots of herbs. Main course centre piece was duck breast. There was samphire, I've only had that with fish before. There was a course which had mushrooms and aubergines but hardly recognisable and other flavours too.

@Yviestevie I am definitely of the Bill and Ben and Woodentops era  :) and OH remembers Muffin the Mule.

I remember Muffin the Mule ... Ma used to say that my first real sentence was ‘Where Muffin don to Mummy?’   I had a real Muffin puppet for Christmas one year. I loved it with a passion.
And as I lived on a a farm with my parents and a brother and a dog I thought the Woodentops was about us.
    And I loved Rag, Tag and Bobtail 😍 🦔 🐁 🐇

    Hello everyone.

Back, at last, from helping Possum move to a new studio - no more flatmates - but she's a bit of a mess from all the enforced Covid isolation so i've brought her home for 2 weeks with brain switched off, I hope, and doggies and cats to cuddle and play and lots of trip to the beach for walks, swims and downtime.   Fingers crossed.

No internet access since Friday so lots to read back and catch up on so hope all are well and belated happy birthday to @Busy-Lizzie

    Morning all,

Been busy on here whilst I've been away!

I've watched a bit of R&C on youtube. Still can't cope with Custard's voice, the theme tune and the animation, I'm afraid. The whole thing just gives me the fear  :o

Loved Richard Briers in The Good Life, though  ;)
