@steveTu it's very simple .... it was agreed many years ago that everyone here is 27 ... we decided that 27 is the ideal age ... old enough to be grown up but not so old that we had to be sensible ... we are all 27, Fairy is 27, Hosta is 27, Busy Lizzie is 27, Punkdoc is 27, Liri, YvieStevie, Dordogne Damsel ... everyone who posts here is 27 ... I am 27 and so is my daughter WonkyWomble ... isn't that right @Fairygirl?
I’m glad you left me out ......coz I’m 26 🤣🤣🤣
Still not grown up yet @chicky ... forever the student eh? 🤣

Maybe I should have tried that ploy on my dad .... '...but it's not even the national press or The Six O'Clock News dad...'. Let me think about that one...thought about it - not a good idea...

That change of hair colour....I used to grow a beard most winters (not quite sure why - it wasn't even laziness) until I started to look more and more like Santie Claws....so now more an albino Cadfael..bright red sun burnt pate, with a fringe of white..lovely look.

I'd have loved to have played an instrument - but I'm tone deaf and totally lack rhythm - hence the kids. The kids both played piano for a while, but neither of them kept it up. Shame - I think they may regret that later. The electric piano is still here - maybe I'll gi it a go before I die.
What Blues band did you sing with (not that I know anything about blues bands)?
I watched the Blues Brothers (2000?) a few nights back and I never realised that they were actually a band.

Oh only a local band @steveTu ... semi pro ... but they did do a very small scale national tour once .., but they didn’t take ā€˜the girls’ šŸ¤”Ā

Afternoon all. Just calling in and three pages to read today already!Ā
Just tidied the area by the shed and potting bench ready for the new polyhouse (poly tunnel/green house) being delivered in a day or so.Ā
    Hope all are well.Ā

Hello all.Ā  Taking a break from meadow making for a cuppa and some chocolate...Ā Ā

Happy birthday @Busy-Lizzie!Ā  Hope you have a good lunch.

Thank you, yes we did, it was original and delicious, not something I could copy at home.

  • Happy birthday @Busy-Lizzie I hope you have a lovely evening
Dove,Ā  hubby is more into fixing record decks now! Although once he's fixed them it means he can explore the records that his 80 something year old mother had finally evicted from her spare room! She never was much of a drum and bass fan!Ā

I don't know why you'reĀ  trying to be so disruptiveĀ @DELETEaccount /Treeface/Hexagon/t etc. etc
If you need help of some kind, a gardening forum isn't the place.
    Ā
I missed you saying it was your birthday @Busy-Lizzie. Hope you've had a grand day. I take it you didn't do any clearing out?Ā  ;)
I went out and did another coat on my lily pond surround. I just need to do the mesh top. That's going to be the worst bit.Ā
Tomorrow is to be a bit warmer and sunnier. It grudgingly managed 13 for a little while. Roast dinner was very welcome to warm me up.Ā
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • No, I would like to get the same treatment as all other deleted users as per the image below.

There appears to be a glitch with contacting the Mods at the moment ... hardly surprising given that folk are working from home etc ... jumping up and down shouting ā€˜I want to be deleted’ like a stroppy two year old is unlikely to make things happen any sooner.Ā
    Ā
As I suggested ... find something else to do and forget about us ... and we’ll forget about you 😊

But it must be very frustrating all the same to get no response from the GW team.

Thank you for the birthday wishes @WonkyWomble and @Fairygirl. :)
