Just catching up here .....huge hugs to you @Yviestevie 🤗🤗🤗. So muchgoing on at one time ☹️. Carrying on venting here though - its a way to let off steam without those involved worrying 👍🏻.
Very glad to hear wallets have been returned....though sad that it had to happen that way 😢
Scorcher forecast here, so we are off to the seaside 😎🌊☀️⛱. Gave all my autumn plantings a good soak yesterday to coax them through the day. Maybe I should have left them in their pots just a little bit longer 🤷🏼♀️
The manager of the flats my Mum lives in is a total b###h, she swears blind that they went into Mums flat on the evening concerned and that she was fine. They are saying that she must have fallen the following morning, just before they found her, at 10am. At the hospital there were clear signs of hypostasis, which takes many hours to develop.
@punkdoc ... Tell them what the hospital findings were and explain that evidence of hypostasis is exactly that ... evidence!!! As in a hospital, these checks should be timed and recorded with a signature and an observation. I'm serious, threaten them with a Multi Agency Meeting with Soc Services, GP etc Throw your not inconsiderable weight (in both senses of the term) about
I can promise you, all members of staff at my late Aged Parents' Lovely Home were well aware that I worked for Social Services (albeit for a different local authority). I even visited with my ID on sometimes (accidentally of course ) ... I never had any doubts about the care there, but there's nothing to be lost by dropping a name and job description or three.
Thanks folks re son ... yes he does Punkdoc ... just recently he's been lurching from one crisis to another ... he'd just sorted out the clutch on his car two days prior to this ... our fingers are permenantly crossed aren't they @WonkyWomble 🤞

We have to hope and pray [ if you believe in such things ], that in these really awful times, that good people start to have some good things happen to them, and that just maybe the bad people finally start getting their just deserts. { Message to self, keep taking the tablets ]
I have a booked phone call later with the manager of Mums flat and I shall be issuing a few threats.
On a positive note, Mum sounded incredibly bright when I phoned her last night.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team

1. That'd be very good
2. Good 👍

I did @Fairygirl. As JKR has only been overseeing the TV adaptation with the scripts written by someone else, I'd say there's a good chance they will do more (with her permission, of course). If it wasn't filmed in London, I'd quite like to work on it.
That's good news d-fab. Restores a bit of faith in humanity (I've lost quite a lot of that this year )
Crap stuff happens and it's difficult not to wish crap on what you perceive to be crap people, but that simply takes you down to the same level eh? Not trying to be 'holier than thou' as everyone feels that same way at times, even Glenn Hoddle.
I feel awful today, kept waking up with severe vertigo which I've not had before. it was horrible - too much sun whilst working hard in the garden yesterday? I wanted to do so much today and get things ready for our holiday but am tucked up in a chair, feeling sorry for myself. I'm a bit headachey, dizzy and slightly nauseous but no temperature - thank goodness - any ideas, anyone?
Sorry to hear that about your mum @Punkdoc, have you thought of a hidden camera in her flat? You'd have evidence then of visits.
Glad you are now in a happier place DD and that everything gets sorted Yviestevie.
That was a good end result Dove. My son once dropped a paypacket while he was a student, working p/t at Sainsburys and a very kind person picked it up and took it to the police station.

Fantastic result @Dovefromabove, he deserves a break.
@dordogne_damsel, you are doing an amazing job, buisness woman of the year.
