Off to train and then dropping car off for MOTÂ Hopefully, not too expensive a day.Â
Weather looks decent again. Could be the day to finally sort my new strawberry/blackberry patch ready for a bumper crop next year Rhubarb dividing and shifting as well...
Morning all/afties @Pat E - can I have a wee bit of your blue sky pretty please? You can keep the cloud - I've got plenty of those.... Did you enjoy Strike @Biglad? I actually managed to stay awake to watch it - usually fall asleep and have to watch at another time. I think it's a great series. I'm assuming they'll keep doing them, even if she doesn't write more stories. @D0rdogne_Damsel - more power to your elbow. A very difficult period for you. I wonder if things will settle a bit though - perhaps people were going out even more than usual because of the virus, so lots of places were overloaded? I think that's happened here too. I'm sure it'll settle into a more manageable state at some point. In the meantime - take all you can, take a breath, and keep hanging on in there I was hoping to get out to a hill later in the week as the forecast is a bit better [for now] but the A83 is a disaster again. More landslides, unsurprisingly. I feel so sorry for all those businesses. If they don't address this properly, many will never recover. The money that's been wasted on these stupid catch pits.Â
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
@punkdoc ... if they are checking daily then the logical conclusion to draw is that is not sufficient  ... they will have to check twice a day ... and record it ... that is the whole point of sheltered flats ... they have a duty of care. SHOUT AT THEM ... very firmly, and mention the press, social services and solicitors đĄÂ

Positive thoughts too please for my son (and his âlandlordsâ Wonky and her Lovely hub). Son has his first paid work for months coming up ... yesterday he had his wallet stolen with all his cards, licenses etc that he has to have ... đÂ

Whoâd a thunk it ... positive thoughts from Forkers work retrospectively... just had a phone call from son ... his wallet and all its contents were returned anonymously late last night ... after heâd found the chap he suspected of taking it (a homeless chap heâd regularly bought a coffee for) and had a bit of a rant and explained how he couldnât do his work without it and wouldnât be able to buy him more coffees if he couldnât earn. Â
Phew!Â
