Hope you get some rain @floralies. We've had plenty so a dry day is always welcome.
The word you need for the weather  is 'dreich' @Biglad ;)
Annoying when there's been a lot of dry weather, but when you really need some dry stuff for painting, it doesn't play ball. Do you not go out running if it's manky though?
    Lightweight.... :D
Fug and murk in Argyll today, and tomorrow too I think, though that might change @Obelixx. Thunder and lightning and heavy rain for later in the week, so I won't be going then  ;)
That's a very good result, weight and healthwise. You must be really pleased.
Printers are a pain. They turn their toes up very readily, and usually when you've just bought ink.

I hold my hands up @fairygirl - fair weather runner here  ;) As I don't train every day, I'll pick and choose when I go out based on the weather. Did a hill sprints session yesterday so I'm waiting for this week's 'heatwave' before I venture out again.

Too right @Fairygirl ... we'd just bought a double pack 😠  But it seems to be ok  again at the moment ... for now anyway.

@Biglad - I don't blame you. I'm much choosier about picking days to hill walk. I've spent enough days being soaked and not even getting a view at the summit.  :D
Now that I'm retired, it means a bigger choice of days too. Mind you - a heatwave is a bridge too far for me ;)
I think we had a similar problem with the previous printer. Ink volume was still pretty decent. I couldn't get the thing out either, although I don't think the new one took the same doofers.

    Well done @Obelixx

I find it outrageous that a pack of printer inks is nearly the same cost as a new printer.

Evening folks,  Agree about the printer cartridges @Lizzie27 We threw away our old printer because of the cost of the ink.  The ink for the new printer is very reasonable. Another busy day today.  It was moving day at Secondborns and we have been putting beds together and tidying ready for the first visit from Jonah and Gabriel.  They loved their new bedroom and were impressed that they now had two houses not one.  The garden was a big hit too.  It was an emotional day but it went as well as it could have in the circumstances.  I now have two days off and hope to get into the garden.

Yesterday afternoon we found a faun in the swimming pool. It wasn't easy getting it out. I managed to get a hose pipe around its tummy, held that with one arm, close to the edge, then got my other arm around it and lifted it out. I tried to dry it but it was so scared, however I saw that its underneath fur was quite dry, grey soft and fluffy under the top reddish brown long hair. I put it on the cherry tree lawn and it hid under a choisya and this morning it had gone. I hope it found its mum. We don't always shut the gates when the grandchildren aren't here as the latches are such a fiddle. I felt a bit guilty but it's never happened before, in 30 years.

@Yviestevie hope that is a good start to a new beginning 🤞🏻  Enjoy your time to relax 😎

    Great rescue operation @Busy-Lizzie 🦸🏼

First day at school was exhausting, but in a good way 👍🏻  But now I need to sleep 💤

Good morning everyone.  We’ve got a. overcast cool day here today, and maybe a promise of rain later. I won’t complain if we do.
Had a laugh on the way through town. Someone had obviously cut back one of the street trees of  prunus, But the determined little thing wasn’t going to take it lying down. Amazing determination.

I haven’t read back for a couple of days, but will try later. Hope all are ok.

Hosta no wonder  you’re impressed with your grandson. He’s gorgeous.
