I didn't think I'd be THIS smitten, but he's just divine ,and soooooooooooooo beautiful. ( well, I certainly think he is, but accept a fairly large chunk of bias lol )
Of course you’re biased @Hostafan1 ... there’d be something very wrong if you weren’t ... but even I can see that he is undoubtedly a very handsome and engaging wee chap 🤗

Morning all/afties @Pat E if you're there. He's giving you the thumbs up @Hostafan1, so you must have done something right @D0rdogne_Damsel - I think it's perfectly correct that everyone should submit their preferences for you to make the final decision. Everyone should be doing their share. I worked every Christmas and New Year when I didn't have children, although we picked one as our 'day off'. Since animals need attention, that meant the day off was still only a partial one. Wet and windy here, so I'm glad I got lots of little jobs done outside yesterday.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all, Hosta, your grandson has a proper face! Normally babies are just squidgy but he's got features, he looks like a lovely little fella x Bright and chilly start this morning. Spelling in Felixstowe today. Second coffee needed!
He's gorgeous @Hostafan1 and very smiley so 'course you'll miss him. Good job you live in a lovely place with beaches to hand so he and his mum and dad will want to come often, apart from the pleasure of your doting company.
@D0rdogne_Damsel - family and friends of people who live where we do will always want a free/cheap holiday and, frankly, it's a lot easier for us if they come here than if we go there - no need to organise pet cover or travel and more space and sunshine and better food too! @chicky's suggestion is good. Are all your staff British? Maybe try and entice some local students who want to practise their English and earn some euros? I help out at a lycée in La Roche that has a HORECA section which expects them to be able to cook and serve in English and they have mature students too returning for day release studies. May be one near you too?
It is sunny here with no cloud so a bit fresh early on but getting to 23C later. 29C tomorrow so today will be spent trying to sort out the cave with some level concreting upon which we can build non-wonky shelf units to store stuff and then we can pay outside tomorrow. Will have to water beds tho if I plan to weed cos the soil is so dry it's rock hard at the mo.
More coffee first! Have a good one everyone.

He is beautiful, @Hostafan1, proper features as @WonkyWomble said, huge eyes and perfectly shaped mouth.
@Dordogne Damsel there is a hotel school at Savignac les Eglises. Their students helped at my daughters' weddings. Some students come from abroad and may not go home for all the holidays. A friend of mine rents rooms for them during term but maybe you could house a helpful student in your B&B in the holidays. They are well educated, training to be hotel managers and the like.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Definitely a handsome chap @Hostafan1
Feel like I need to get a lot done today. Unfortunately, most of it doesn't involve the garden
