This is our forecast. Just when I’ve got three loads of washing on the line. 😟. I suppose they could always do with more rinsing.

Hello everyone. We’ve got rain!   I am amazed that the forecast has  come true.  😳

no gardening today then, and just as well as I might not get my shoes on comfortably today. Kicked my little toe on a table leg last night and it’s coloured up nicely today.

    OUCH!

Dry here after a loudly wet night but drab grey solid skies. Waiting for a breath of wind. And tracking HANNA as we have a dear friend in Texas. Who have too much wind..

A quiet day here. knitting face masks etc and watching old episodes of " Heartbeat" the old BBC cop series. I know I am getting old when these programmes are "home"!  ...

Hi Island...  yes the toe is ouch!   I’ve been on the lounge playing on my iPad. Jigsaw Planet and Happy Color games. I’m starting to get bored now though.

I saw that hurricane mentioned on our weather channel. Hope your friends don’t suffer too much.  We lost everything in Cyclone Tracy  in Darwin in 1974, so they have my sympathy.

I love the old shows like Hearbeat and Midsummer, etc.

    have a good day.

@Hostafan1 would they otherwise be going back to work when they return?

    Morning all/ afties Pat [ ;) ]
Glad you're getting some rain now.  Hope the toe isn't too sore. Silly mare...
How frustrating @Busy-Lizzie.  Poor show by the estate agents/vendors when you have an appointment. That doesn't happen here - you would still let people view, and wait until a formal offer was with the solicitor. People can say all sorts of things about offers too, and it can be completely bogus.  :/
@AuntyRach -it's funny how something can spark your interest in a musician or band isn't it? I think Freddie's influence was in no doubt when you saw the on screen footage played at the Olympics, with people from all over the world clapping in unison. He still had them in the palm of his hand from beyond the grave  :)
Sad about Peter Green yesterday - my favourite guitarist. His playing was sublime. The phrase 'less is more' was never more appropriate. I expect there were plenty of occasions he didn't expect to see 33 never mind 73. Thankfully, we have recordings, so his skill can be appreciated forever. Like so many others, he wasn't cut out for the business.
Smirry, breezy sort of day so far. Not sure what it's going to do. I'll need to find something to keep me occupied.

Good morning ) just!   We've had 4mm of rain overnight so a disturbed night with damp pussycats needing drying off.    Doesn't occur to them to lick themselves dry.   Sunny spells now and cooler than it's been.

Been feeling a bit off for a few days now so have decided to have a quiet day just quietly pottering indoors altering some clothes and staying clean.   Hope your toes heals quickly @Pat E and that you do get your rain.

I'm afraid that was predictable @Hostafan1 and don't understand people leaving the country at the mo or even their region if they don't have to when there are all sorts of hot spots reappearing all over the place.  It doesn't matter how sensible we are, someone else is always going to be stupid and there's also the problem of non symptomatic transmission.  We all just need to be careful and patient and respectful of each others' health and safety for a long time to come.
