Hi everyone, very sticky & humid here all day black clouds keep rolling in but no rain-yet. Getting fed up with people at the allotments letting their children run around unchecked. They seem to think it's a play park.

Hi all. Have spent the day trying to catch up with things as not feeling so hot today as there has been a good breeze. Lots of dead heading done. Thanks Obelixx for the mention of The Garden but I don't take it, maybe it's Busy-Lizzy. It sounds like everyone has had a very varied and interesting day today.

Hi Dove. Yes we have possible rain predicted for tomorrow, but I’ll believe that when I see it.😡

Good morning.   We have clouds so it is cooler but no rain expected tho I think the air maye be slightly damp.    We're going to spend the morning doing h*work cos we must and then back to planting for me.

    Love that sky @Pat E.

Your fish haul yesterday sounds good @Dovefromabove but we'll be waiting till September to go to the markets at Olonne.  Far too many people about at the mo and prices go up while the tourists are here.  I do my fishy lunches at the port tho.

Morning all.  Cloudy here too, and thundery rain expected this afternoon, so gardening this morning I think...

@Obelixx - I was the one awaiting delivery of my RHS magazines.  Mine came yesterday so I have plenty of reading matter now.   :)

We have intermittent fine drizzle with occasional bright spells ... it may be better tomorrow ... apparently ...

Morning all/afties Pat. I love unusual clouds. We had some lovely ones a few days ago, sitting among a few clear areas, and all black, grey and bumflly. That's the correct meteorological term...
@Allotment Boy - you have my sympathy. It seems to be the general standard of 'parenting' nowadays. What you need is some torrential rain...and not just for the plants...
Glad you had a good day yesterday @Dovefromabove
Ooh errr @steephill. Where's that embarrassed face emoji gone.... ;)
Quite pleasant here yesterday, especially for any grafting. None of the forecast sun though. I had to get in behind the viburnum and pyracantha to attach wires for the last clem. I'm remarkably injury free.
Been wet all night, but it's gone off - for now, so I'll get a walk before my taxi duties. What's the point of reinstating the bus service, but having ludicrous timetables at the weekend?  :/
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
