Morning all/afties Pat if you're around.
Lovely pic @steephill. It's just reminded me that they were talking on the radio earlier  about a new film coming out which was filmed around the Seven Sisters [last autumn] so perhaps you and @chicky sneaked into a pic or two...
I've instantly forgotten the name of it - one word title, and has Gemma Arterton in it though.
Hope you have hoggies @Liriodendron, and great news re your house. Nice that  the new owners like your lovely garden too.
Great stuff @D0rdogne_Damsel. I'd assumed you were up to your eyes as you hadn't been on here  :D
Looked out the kitchen window at the bird feeder earlier, and thought the robin had a smart black beret on. Then I realised it was a bullfinch. His missus appeared as well. Lovely jubbly.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Hi all

Todays good news [ for her anyway ], Moira has been re-hired by Defra for 6 months, to design an advertising campaign to help companies prepare for BREXIT. Less than 6 months to go and still no one has a clue.

Well I'm very glad for Moira @punkdoc  ........   I do hope she's adept at making silk purses out of sows' ears.  :#

Afternoon all, Busy morning today feeding Besties cat and watering her garden followed by a treasure hunt to find the the clippers I bought to cut Hubby's hair at the start of lockdown.  Finally located them and gave him a haircut.  Having a sit down now before heading out into the garden to feed the plants.
Glad to hear Moira has landed a new contract @punkdoc
Good to hear that all your hard work is paying off @D0rdogne_Damsel

Good for Moira @punkdoc.   Can she do it from home or does she have to commute?

Sorry @Liriodendron.  Forgot to congratulate you on both the sale and the hedgehog.

I have now got all the shrubs in the new bed except for one short clem whose hole has to wait for the trellis post to set hard.   Now to find some ground cover and flowery bits.  I have geraniums phaeum and Rozanne and scabious for the purpley bits, hemerocallis Citrine for yellow and some white gazania with a purple streak.   They're not going to go far tho.

No bullfinches here @Fairygirl but the redstarts are entertaining and so are the swallows when they get to swooping.

I do OH's beard @Yviestevie but not his hair.

Hello everyone. I’ve been pruning my roses again.

Oh the joy of rose thorns!

I think I’m nearly finished now,
Hubby made pies for dinner with some lamb mince I dug out of the freezer. Not bad!  We lined up for seconds. (With mashed potatoes, peas and broad bans. Yum.)

    Night all.
