I love the smell of coffee, but hate the taste.

We find the most reliable source of coffee is our Thermos ☕️
I was out on an early job this morning and afterwards I sat by a babbling river with my thermos of coffee and a muffin my wife baked yesterday. Miles from the nearest town and just the birds for company.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Surely "Costafobea" is a fear of the endless eruption of coffee shops?
And Clostas is that a misspelt holiday resort?,  you wouldn’t want to wear a mask at either I suppose.

Grrrr! Just caught my foot on a trailing squash vine and broke a stem with a couple of very promising looking squashes on it

Maybe the clue is in the name.😉

Something must've died nearby. Hundreds of bluebottles the length of the garden and on the patio😟
Tried hosing the patio, but I think they're just coming back for a drink
My husband helpfully suggested that I might have trodden on a snail - yeh right. That would've done it.😠
    In London. Keen but lazy.

No show from British Gas engineer.
After 7 calls the the lovely Scottish chap working at the Cardiff call centre told me last week they sent an engineer on a call from Cardiff to Penzance.
Mr Google says 219.9 miles and 3 hrs 43 mins each way. No wonder it takes so long to get someone to arrive . They spend all day driving , not fixing
    Devon.

Maybe British Gas are using a system which simply shows distance 'as the crow flies'.  Its' only about 130 miles direct :-)  There's clearly no sense in that situation but I do know of a gas engineer who was sent from Cheltenham to Weston-super-Mare approximately 60 miles, despite there being an available call in Gloucester (10 miles).  He said that while he was in the system he saw the Gloucester job being allocated to an engineer in Bristol.  They would have crossed en-route.  When he called their control he was told that the jobs couldn't be reallocated.
