That’s lovely and so interesting @Pat E  ... now I really can begin to picture your place and imagine you going about your day. Love it.

Morning all/afties Pat. Have you got your furry undies on?  :D

I wrote this post before I went out, but the Post button is very hit and miss these days. Just keeps saving drafts instead.
Changed it now as it wouldn't make sense!
Glad Mr chicky senior is doing so well @chicky. Huge relief, and a boost for you all x
Hope @Yviestevie and @Obelixx have a grand day out. A Wallace and Gromit as we call it here.  :)
Chilly start today, but all the rain from yesterday and overnight has watered everything in well. I believe we're to have more rain and windy bits later though. Indoor jobs for me then. Walk was nice and quiet, but the poor young deer that some bampot hit during the night wasn't looking too cheery. Foxes and craws have already had their fill. I tried to move him/her over to the side of the road a bit more, but too heavy. It's not on the road as such, but at the private entrance to the NT garden.
There was a total dipsh*t screaming along the road yesterday when I took fairylet to work. Too many of them around lately.  :(

Re the birthday celebrates Dove, it does seem strange, I agree. But also when I was a kid, we always celebrated Queen Victoria’s birthday on 25 May with fireworks.(cracker night to us).  It’s always a holiday on the first Monday in June for Queen Elizabeth.

im glad you can visualise me in my yard. 😁

    Basically @Pat E ... it seems like it’s ‘any excuse for a party’ in Aus 😆 👍

    Ooh err missus  :D
Meant to ask you - do the kangaroos come right up to you at any time, or do they 'social distance' ?  ;)

Gosh the moon is spectacular tonight. I tried to get a photo, but it doesn’t work on my camera.

I'm very impressed with your whirly for the washing @Pat E
I now have whirly envy. Is that a thing?  :D

Getting shots of the moon is tricky isn't it? My camera doesn't have enough magnification so it can't focus on it. Sometimes you get lucky though. Someone here [steephill maybe] explained how to alter it manually etc, but I couldn't get my head round it at all!

Love the picture @Pat E - always great to see roos 🦘

We’re back to Hampshire today to do a walk based round the river Test - a fabulous chalk stream.  Going to take some lunch and have a picnic half way round.  🥖🧀🍅🍫☕️
