Soooo mean @punkdoc .....poor Moira ā˜¹ļø

    Hope @D0rdogne_Damsel had a brilliant re-openingĀ

Another scorcher here today - but now the clouds have swept in and all is set to change.

Hope the tummy is better tomorrow @Yviestevie

    Morning all.
Ā Punkdoc, I read your post to Hubby, I won’t repeat what he said on here, but we are with everyone else’s posts. Stupid woman!Ā
Our weather channel is obsessed with the snow fields at this time. Never mind any other areas around the country who are gasping for rain. I’m so glad that we don’t have livestock any more. It’s enough that we fill various places with water for the Roos and wallabies.Ā

im gradually making progress with my new iPad. šŸ™„

It’s great to hear everyone’s news. Keep it up please. 😁

    Hi all

Thanks for all the supportive posts. Moira had several G@T's last night and went to bed a lot happier. Hopefully she will be out for the day today and can have a laugh with a proper friend.

    Good morning all 😊 ā˜•ļøĀ
I was aware of a storm rattling around at some time during the night but not enough to need the windows shutting. Everything is dry now ... we have bright sunshine but the sky in the west looks black ...Ā
@punkdoc I was going to join Moira in a G&T last night but discovered there was no tonic in the fridge ... there were only warm bottles in the garage 😭
I hope she has a lovely day today šŸ¤—Ā

Good morning to all you Forkers - well what a list of happenings!Ā Ā
@floralies and @D0rdogne_Damsel my thoughts were with you when I watched the weather report last night - I do hope there is not too much damage.Ā  @Obelixx I hope you were too concerned with the weather.

@Dovefromabove I like your idea of the pods.Ā  I usually put my "specials" under and hoops and netting, but will try this idea with my brassica that the white butterfly have got their eye on!!

@punkdoc Strange way for friends to behave.  Have one for me when you are back on track.  Santé!!

I bid you all a great day in the sun!!

Morning all/afties Pat if you're looking in.
I'll echo the others' comments @punkdoc. Always wise to engage brain before opening mouth eh? Hope Moira has a nice day today. She can rest assured we'll keep you in order today while she's out. Hope you get another little walk - good progressĀ  :)
Glad you're ok @floralies after your storms. It's still very thundery here, but our little thunderstorm yesterday morning wasn't damaging, and the rain eventually went off in the afternoon. We still have warnings for today, and it's a leaden sky.Ā
Nice pix @Busy-Lizzie. At least the disgusting chavs and the wilfully ignorant weren't there in abundance like some other beaches. Give me strength. The behaviour of some people makes me want to weepĀ  :/
I wonder if @D0rdogne_Damsel is lying in a corner somewhere.... ;)
I'm about to have some breakfast @Obelixx - the scraping of clarty matter from ears isn't helpingĀ  :D
Hope you're better today @Yviestevie. Not pleasant.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Hmmm drizzle .... I was going to sow some more chard before the rain started but it’s beaten me to it ... perhaps there’ll be a dry spell ... and Monty said we could sow Florence Fennel this weekend didn’t he? Ā I think I have some seeds somewhere ...

Good morning you are all up bright and early! Gardening planned for today if it doesn't get too hot and sultry. Picked my first outdoor cucumber yesterday- delicious, plenty more on the way, lots of soup to be made in a couple of weeks. Is it too late to give my roses a feed? I have waited for some rain so that I can hoe the granules around them.
Have a good day all, whatever the weather brings.

Go for it @floralies  ... a good second flush maybe 😊

Think the culprit might live on the Norfolk Broads ... possibly someone quite high flying with a waterside residence šŸ˜‰Ā
