I'm NOT looking forward to a 12 hour shift today following less than 4 hours sleep. :(

    Morning 😘

    Thanks people. 😁

Another busy day ahead, such a lot of reservations, such a relief. I'm hoping to have some time out of the kitchen tomorrow and do some gardening, we've had so much rain (at night luckily) everything has shot up. 😱 My grass seed has done amazingly too. My bald patches are nearly gone. 😅
I hope you're all well and thanks again for your kind thoughts and comments. 😘😘😘

    Morning all/afties Pat if you're there  :)
Brilliant @D0rdogne_Damsel - delighted for you, and here's to the rest of the year going well too. It's much deserved  :)
Long may the rain come at night for your bald spots  :D
I went back to sleep after looking out the window @Hostafan1 . It was forecast to be wet and windy last night and today, so I wasn't expecting it to be great. I'll see if it brightens up a bit later on. Hope today isn't too bad. Daughter no 2 had a terrible shift yesterday. She;s glad she has a week off now!
I'll have a mooch around here and more tea...

    Good morning all  :) ☕️
    waving to @Pat E  if she’s around 😃
what lovely happy pics @D0rdogne_Damsel ... a real triumph ... long may it continue ... what a positive contribution you must be making to the wellbeing of your neighbourhood 😊
Hiya @Fairygirl  ... glad daughter No 2 has some time off 👍
@Hostafan1 are you driving or in the shop today?  Hope it’s not too onerous whichever it is.

I shall be cutting OHs hair, then rubbing a chicken with lemon, rosemary and olive oil and then roasting it for supper. We’ll have it with new potatoes and Swiss chard from the garden. There should be enough chicken left for salad for a couple of days and the stock will be used with mushrooms for a risotto ... that’s half the week catered for 👩‍🍳

The rest of the day I’ll spend in the studio with walks around the garden to do some deadheading so my back doesn’t stiffen up. 😊

Still grey and cool here and set to stay that way all day but be sunnier tomorrow.   OH has disappeared to play golf so I'm home alone and pondering what I can do.  Need more coffee to help with that.

Sorry your no 2 had a bad day @Fairygirl and hope she enjoys her week off.

Great that your day went well @D0rdogne_Damsel and hope it carries on being a success after all your hard work.

Did Moira have a better day @punkdoc?

Morning all. A very grey day here at the moment, cool enough to get on with the jobs in the garden that I didn't get done yesterday due to NDN coming round with a good idea to stabilize our sat dish, which involved OH getting in the loft and me being the gofer. It is better now than it has ever been. the neighbour is brilliant at mending/doing all sorts, we all go to him for help.

    Hi all

Moira had a great time thanks. I got a call from her friend at about 22.00 saying she was about to walk home, but that she was a bit "tired and emotional", so I went and picked her up. First time I have driven for a few weeks.

Cold, wet and windy here, THIS IS NOT SUMMER.

Yes I’m here. I just about to cook Dinner. The usual stuff on the news, so I’m turning to the kitchen.

Hello everyone. I’m very pleased for DD.

    Will get back later. 😃

That's good you got it sorted @floralies :)
How is the dug today @Obelixx? I've had my breakfast so it's ok to mention weeping sores and oozing pus.... :D
Daughter wasn't meant to be in yesterday, but someone was ill. She had a rude customer who got the hump that she wasn't packing his shopping for him [does he not  realise the reasons?] and one of the managers just going off, had a 'word'. Then all the tills went down so they could only use the self service ones. I said to her 'it's a pity that hadn't happened when that twut was in'. Then a shoplifter. Just another day at the OK Corral...  ;)
If you could pop up here and do mine @Dovefromabove, I'd be most grateful. I may need to take the hedgetrimmer to it soon....

Morning all,  Feeling much better today, IBS under control and much cooler weather.  I'm hoping to get out into the garden and do some deadheading.  Nothing else planned.
Well done @D0rdogne_Damsel all your hard work has paid off.
Hope your daughter is OK @Fairygirl it can be very miserable if work doesn't go well.
Hope everyone has a good day
