I thought that too. Even OH got opinionated as he thought they might choose one of t'other pair. It's been a good series and I didn't always agree with who went each week but the end result was right so that's OK. That said, I really don't get the transformation challenges except the last one. If you can sew clothes you're already saving a packet and don't need to make clothes out of laundry bags or old jumpers.
Some of the pattern challenges have been bizarre too and, apart from one or two of those tea-dance dresses there really hasn't been anything I would or could wear given my hourglass shape - even more so now I've lost 7 kilos and 10 of the 20cms gone are from my waist - not to mention being 27 and all.
SM raid done, no probs. Staying cool for the rest of the afternoon.

Loved Sewing Bee, every single minute of it. , well deserved winner. It got to 30.5C this morning. I went crazy and removed my ( optional ) tie, but didn't succumb to Air Con, not warm enough for that.
Been out in the garden all day. OH has organised a socially distanced meet up with a couple of our friends in our garden tomorrow evening. So while I was tidying up all the ivy I had taken off the front of the house yesterday she told me I needed to mow the grass around the front to allow safe passage to the sunset side of the garden. It is a narrow access at the top of a steep slope and I wouldn't want our friends falling down that. The grass is about 90% moss as it is on the north side and permanently shaded and is a bit of a sod to mow, it just clogs the mower.
Then I found that the azalea on the corner had somehow expanded to about 3 times its normal width and would push anyone trying to pass down the slope so out with the pruning saw.
Next I had to mow the flat bit we can sit on but first had to move the big swing seat and the rest of the garden furniture. All in about a dozen barrow loads of ivy and grass clippings now filling the big compost bins. Felt like a wrung out dishcloth when I got finished - far too hot for a pale blue Scot. The good news is the fridge is cooling the beers for this evening.
Lovely butterfly @chicky, never seen one of those. Beautiful in the garden today, just glad I wasn't able to do anything. Salad Nicoise for dinner tonight, just got to cook the Tuna.

Tables are lovely @D0rdogne_Damsel - take a breath, and sit at one with a cool drink for ten minutes
