So pleased to hear from you @punkdoc, I expect you are a terrible patientĀ @Lizzie27, how amusing, I hope you've sorted it.Ā
Another hot day here, I was feeling very hopeful of rain yesterday, a storm was forecast and it went it very dark and then big drops arrived, 30 seconds later all stopped and the sun came back out.Ā
Meeting with the plumber today, he's putting a Quettle in for me (tap with boiling water option) and two new hand washing sinks. I am really hoping I might be able to claim some money back from the government for all the newly required hygiene equipment,Ā apparently there is a grant of up to 50% reimbursement, but like everything in France you have to jump through a whole pile of hoops. The compulsory hydroalcoholic dispenser is 250ā¬, and really I ought to have 2. The actual gel is 35⬠for 5 litres and the masks @ .75 centimes each, 3 or 4 staff all wearing them for just 4 hours and then throwing them away, it's soon going to mount up.Ā
Anyway, ever onwards, good day to all.Ā

I'm back @Hostafan1 Nice, because it was cloudy and cool. You'd have hated it.. I've discovered Laura Brannigan's #Gloria, is also good for walking pace. The chap who I subjected to my 'ooh, ooh oohing' yesterday was out. I didn't look at him.... Ā I missed your lovely pic from yesterday Hostie.Ā Lovely view.Ā How's 'The Rock' doing these days? I've often wondered about those hot water taps @D0rdogne_Damsel. Good for your needs I should think. Not sure I'd trust them though! Hope @AuntyRach's meetings isn't too hideous. One of the flowers on my Ipomeias has opened. It's suitably sumptuous. I may have to tuck the pot in against the house wall later though, as it may not appreciate the weather that's coming. The flowers are opening on the Chrysographes and C. Niobe too. Lovely jubbly.Ā
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Went to the beach yesterday š . Ā Mr C managed to get one of the limited edition parking spaces at West Wittering. Ā It was beautiful, very civilised and not a bampot in sight. Ā Felt very good to have a change of horizon.....
