Managed to read back, lovely pics @Busy-Lizzie, I am so glad it went well for you both.
I love music and dancing but I can never remember the names of more than just a few of my favourites, I'm very impressed by you all.
Busy few days and it's slowly coming together. The kitchen is finished, now just to keep cleaning it, the dust settles everywhere and keeps coming back. More wood delivered yesterday for the terrace and now the carpenter is on site and the concrete is dry so that should start taking shape.
The 30 chairs I ordered are out of stock so I am on the hunt for replacements, not stressing yet, but it was a bit of a blow because I really liked the ones I'd picked. The tables are coming on the 22nd, cutting it a bit fine, especially if I have a problem like @Yviestevie
Big hug for @punkdoc, I do hope there is an improvement.
Must go, things to do and people to see....
Have a good day all.

Morning all. Much cooler and the garden has loved the rain I'm sure. Polytunnel chores yesterday and coal face today. I'm glad of my winter duvet last night. V chilly.
A shame about the chairs @D0rdogne_Damsel , but I’m sure the right ones will appear ... did you know we’re planning to celebrate @Pat E ’s 80th birthday on the 22nd with a virtual party at your place 🎉 🥂 so no pressure 😉
From the sounds of the forecast were in for cold wet and windy weather for a few days ... not the best for newly planted out squashes 🙄 so today we’ll get out the mini poly tunnel that OH so carefully packed away two days ago and try to wrangle it so it’ll protect the two squash plants which of course aren’t planted in a straight line ... that’s our poly tunnel mission for today @Hostafan1 😂

No pressure @Dovefromabove , just the 60 legs to screw onto to 15 tables and source chairs.....and make cake - I hope it's the evening of the 22nd 'our time' not @Pat E s time....

Charlie and I also made the mistake of making a pretty veggie patch rather than regimented rows, covering the brassicas with protection which we hadn't realised we needed until @Obelixx mentioned it after the fact.....that was very challenging, so good luck with that @Dovefromabove. We used bendy bamboo....here's the first one, after which you'll note, I needed a glass of wine before commencing with the rest.

I thought you might like to see some pictures of the progress of the veggie patch. It has been a great project for us both, especially during the tricky lockdown period, and Charlie says he never wants to eat a shop bought lettuce again. More excitement yesterday when the aubergine plant flowered, very pretty, we'd never seen one before.
It could be a 24 hour shindig @D0rdogne_Damsel who knows? 😉 We are all 27 of course ...
Aubergine flowers are really pretty ... and yesterday my potato farmer brother helped me identify the potatoes that had popped up in the veg patch unbidden (accidentally left in the ground last year by the Under Gardener) as Maris Peer as their flowers are, unusually for potatoes apparently, noticeably scented.
