Hello all, it's been a long time since I've been in here. I hope everyone is OK?
I'm sitting watching a concert from 2018 being premiered on Facebook and I suddenly remembered I'd talked about it here, as some if you opera fans had given me advice on how to approach it, not being familiar with much opera. It's a student performance of Puccini's 'Gianni Schicci', with just Gianni himself played/sung by a professional. I enjoyed it much more than I expected at the time, and am looking forward to seeing it again. At the moment it's the first half - a Stravinsky piece - so I thought a couple of people might be interested in seeing it. Not sure exactly what time the Puccini starts. Fairly soon, I think. Here's the link (you don't have to have a Facebook account to watch it): https://www.facebook.com/londonschoolssymphonyorchestra/posts/2979681408747829
    Bye for now x

@Busy-Lizzie,  it doesn't feel such a brilliant idea now - we can't get the damm thing down! I bet the neighbours were killing themselves with laughter. Will have to watch YouTube and try again tomorrow.

Flicking through channels last night, found Ideal World (ch.22 freeview) they had 2 x 50 litre bags of compost for delivery, Don't know if it's any good.

    Hi all
Welcome from Firth 4, NGH, Sheffield.
Not very well, admitted with acute pancreatitis, and being me, mine does not seem to be due to any of the usual causes.
    Stay well, see you sometime.

Good morning all.  I hope @punkdoc you behave yourself in hospital and enjoy the care and attention.  I am sure you will be well looked after.
Another cloudy day here - coolish - should get some sun later in the day.  Strange weather we are having.  Have a pleasant day everybody.  Tui.

    Morning all.
@punkdoc - sorry to hear that you are still in hospital. I hope you have some decent pain relief and a good team looking after you.

I started back at my ‘proper’ job yesterday- the one B.C. (before COVID!) and it was bonkers busy. I am supposed to be off today but I need to go in for a meeting. It’s the last of the warm, sunny days for a while - so I’ll make the most this pm.

    Have a good day all.
