I know that he might not see this and i don't go on Twitter but
Monty so sorry to hear about nigel, for me and  hubby he stealed the show and we always looked forward to seeing him  and Nellie. Yesterday when I heard on another forum about nigel i couldn't believe it. We have goldies and seeing nigel and Nellie is very special to us. It was like losing one of ours and  I'm very sad about it.
    Hugs and kisses, Logan.

I really enjoy lemon juice and sour things in general.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Hello everyone,

There's a lovely tribute to Nigel from Monty here ...

    Some lovely pictures too.

Thank you so much @Bee witched for posting that. There are some lovely photos of Nigel and of Monty's garden.

I was sorry to hear of Nigel's death and sad for Monty. He was a great dog. I still miss my Tigger (Border Collie). Dogs can be good friends.

    Hello @Busy-Lizzie,

I like Monty's writing style .... I've got a number of his books including his doggie one.
I think the tribute to Nigel made us all remember dogs we have loved and lost.

Ours was called Tiksi ... a Siberian Husky ... she was a lovely dog who we were so lucky to have.

I just hope Monty doesn't read this thread with all its bickering.  It's a great shame at such a sad time for him.

I bet he doesn't even know the forum exists @Whippet

As you know nigel/monty has a Twitter account so i don't think that he'll be on here.
Here's a picture I took of nigel from the gardeners world calendar
He looks similar to some of ours in this.
His 12 th birthday would have been on the 17th on Sunday.
