I think the forum thinks its the weekend. I'd asked the question about your herb garden Debs before your post came up! Sorry!

They are and I hope so LB to be honest that’s the main reason I grow herbs and also because I love to stroke the scented foliage. Lots of different thymes and the worlds smallest bay tree!Ā

I have one silly question.Ā I saw that somewhere write aquilegia and somewhere columbine. Is it the same plant?

I think Columbine is the old name for the plant it’s much prettier isn’t it?Ā

Ante. The aquilegia is the same as columbine and they are also know as granny's bonnets.
Aquilegia is the Latin name. Columbine is the common name. Granny's Bonnets is another common name.

Here is a picture of my Black Beauty magnolia planted last year. The flowers have been a bit frosted but I'm sure that it will get more flowers over the years.

Gorgeous LB I bought youngest daughter a dark flowered magnolia for her birthday I hanker after them but I know they don’t love pots so have restrained myself. I did buy a ā€œLeonard Merrill?ā€ Pink stellata which will suit a pot apparently and I will just make do with looking at soulangia in other people’s gardens.Ā
