MIL chats with her friend most days on Facetime but, when both of them are self-isolating and now FIL has died / funeral is done etc, there's probably less & less for them to talk about. Will be good if I can get them playing games together.
More like 'normal' times when they would go away to various Warners centres as a foursome - mainly to give the 2 wives a bit of a break from what had become essentially carer roles & also to provide one another with moral support. They all played cards and Scrabble for pennies. Don't think the husbands were really up to Scrabble in the last couple of years but the two M's are still as sharp as my best knives.
