I know what you mean Rosie. Talking face to face is much better than chatting on the phone, texting or emailing but its nice to look forward to the day when we can. I though that Mastermind and Uni Chall were really difficult tonight but I suppose that as they were both semi finals they would be that wee bit tougher.

Sunny here but cold again, sorted out allotment yesterday and sowed some seeds. Hoping for another day in the garden today before itās back to work on Wednesday.Ā

So thatās not gone to plan at all... No sleep last night - coughing away, sore throat & headache -came on very suddenly when I went to bed. Iāve decided it would be very unwise to put myself in a group containing one person with asthma, one aged 85 and one who is 4 months pregnant.
OH has gone up but Iāve stayed at home. Really hoping this is just a bit of hay fever or something similar. I donāt feel particularly ill or have a temperature but itās not for me to risk the health of others.
Very sad not to be there.

Topbird, Very unselfish of you as I am sure you wanted to be there, I too am suffering from hay fever exactly those symptoms but there is always a slight possibility that itās something else so you did the right thing. Hope you can have a quiet easy day taking care of yourself.Ā
