Chive I hope your son will soon feel better after his period of isolation.  A worrying time for all.  Wishing the best for a good and speedy recovery.  Hazel I’m glad to hear the steroids are working.  Topbird indeed it is a beautiful sunny day and it is very bright here.  LB I wish you a happy Sunday and a good week ahead to all.

Oh @Chivetalking so sorry to hear your son is feeling poorly. Everything crossed it's just a normal cold. He's young and fit, best wishes for speedy recovery. Big hugs.

Afties all. What a shock I got to read the news of your son Chive. I've got everything crossed that he bounces back from this illness. Have you heard anything yet? They will probably advise him to self isolate but monitor any changes.
It has been lovely outdoors. I had to come in to receive my groceries order which arrived pretty promptly in the 'window' I had been given. Just done pottering jobs really as the heavy work was done yesterday and I'm not going mad as the thought of being laid up with achey joints or a bad back whilst the weather is nice would be awful.
T'Bird, how lovely for you to have heard a cuckoo. When I first moved into my house I heard them regularly (as I did lapwings and skylarks) but I cannot remember the last time I heard any of those - its so long ago.
SGL, squirrels can be very entertaining but I do chase them away from the bird feeders.
Ruby, its good to hear that your OH has got outside to sit in the sun. Very therapeutic, though I'm not a great sunbather myself.

Hope your OH is feeling better Rubee, must be worrying for both of you.
Chive I think in a young healthy person the virus is not a problem but as a mom you worry I know. Also bear in mind it’s the season for hay fever and colds still so maybe something else entirely. Hope he feels better soon. Had a busy day in the garden while fiancĂ© visited his mom, naughty I know but she is struggling after losing his Dad so recently they had been married for over 60 years and she is terribly lonely. He phones most days but sometimes she gets into such a state he has to go over. He is between a rock and a hard place at the moment and can’t really do the right thing.
I must admit it’s nice to have the place to myself. Love him dearly but I enjoy solitude and I never get it these days. Every day is one day closer to the end of this so trying to be positive.
Sounds like you have all been busy. Where would we be without our gardens?

Debs sorry to hear mil is struggling, it’s difficult with the isolation.  I hope seeing her son made her happy and feel more connected.
