Hello Epsilonsage . Are you cooling down a bit this week?  The temp has really dropped over last day or so. Snow on Kosciusko etc. The breeze from that direction has been brisk today the least.

    Hello everyone else

  • Yes@fairygirl I was going to use that method, just a bit sad my grandchildren will have to do theirs seperately.  I was also looking for some ready made molds with decorative patterns, insects etc. And stencils.
  • @Pat E mornings are beginning to get cooler.  As someone who experiences SAD what I really notice is the change in light levels and shortening days.

Bless you for that. I hope your winter is short and at least sunny .

  • Sadly climate data shows Adelaide has much less rain than when I was a child and we have to be very water wise.  So sunny days are nice, but I  miss having actual rain for 2-3 days rather than the odd shower.  Nevertheless, other parts of this huge continent are getting more rain, and I know the Northern Hemisphere has similiar issues.  We'll keep on caring for our little corners and it all adds up.
  • That post was in reply to @Hostafan1 lol

Our dear friend @Pat E tells us of your water shortages. I live in SW England and we've had " exceptionally high" rainfall over the previous 6 months.

  • Yes in relation to the length of our short human lives, things can seem to be turning upside down.  I'm confident that spreading appreciation of the wonder of the natural world, we can do our bit.  I cannot tell my grandchildren often enough the joy one gets when a seed germinates.
