Oh, God, no Dove, I wasnt being horrible or insulting about Adam Frost, please dont think that, his garden is amazing, I dont begrudge him that at all. It was the planting iin containers that annoyed me, BUT I did love the pussy cats. It was Rachaels walled garden, thing, as though we all have a walled garden. Please accept apologies, if anything was misconstrued.

Why is it ok for Adam  to have a garden with Barnack stone walls, whereas it's wrong for Rachel to have a garden with Cotswold stone walls?

We've had a lovely day out there too ... it's been glorious ... OH has cut our grass for the first time this year ... I might let him use the scarifier on the front lawn tomorrow ... but I've no idea where we're going to put the moss ... there'll be a skip load ...

Hi @widgetwilk ann  ... Monty told us last week that in order to cope with the exigencies of the present situation they were having to make some changes and be pretty flexible ... they would do their best to keep bringing us the GW programmes, but of course with the restrictions on social distancing and travel for camera and production crew etc there are bound to be some changes ... he said that the programme would be hosted at Adam's garden yesterday and next Friday, and after that we'd see how we go so to speak.

  • Lovely calm and peaceful evening here, have been gardening all day, now sat with a glass of wine after a cheerful WhatsApp chat with friends in Germany & the UK. Life is definitely a rollercoaster of emotions at the moment.

Thanks, but they still must have had camera crew etc in Adam's garden, not sure where Adam's garden is,

Adam’s garden is near my MIL on the South Lincs /northants border.

Not sure how they’re doing things ... they must have reasons why they’re doing things the way they are.
