Ah it’s raining again now ... that’s cos OH is going out on his bike for a 10 minute thrash around the block ...

Good morning.   My codeine dose helped me get a good night's sleep but I am definitely feeling a bit spaced out now, like my head is floating somewhere off to the right.  No machinery then.  Or paint brushes.

We had our rain yesterday and my weather radar shows it's swirling all over Brittany and southern England up to the cut off line in the Midlands.  I hope your garden's getting a good drink @Lyn and anyone else who needed a soak.

Have just seen Nicky Clarke (celebrity hairdresser) on Breakfast talking about cutting and colouring hair during lockdown.   Must admit I have seen some interesting tide marks on ladies who clearly get coloured every month or two to hide the grey.   He was the chap I went to at John Frieda's for my first hair "style" in 16 years.

I had a Twiggy style done when I was 14 (never did master drawing those eyelashes in) but grew it out again straightaway so I reckoned I could splash out on a haircut for getting married.  He took it from bum length to shoulders and gave me half a fringe.   Cost £17.50.   Arranged to meet OH at Oxford Circus afterwards and he didn't recognise me.

I see Trump doesn't understand why calls to poison help lines have rocketed in the USA.
This amused me yesterday but not good for the poor saps who believed him.  Canard is Duck.

    Good morning all  :) ☕️
I had a Twiggy cut back then too and it looked great  ... kept it for a couple of years until then boyfriend said he preferred long hair 🙄 daft lass eh?

We’re having very gentle rain showers  ... just what the garden needs.

Hi everyone. Flopped in front of TV after a warmed up last night’s roast. Very nice too. 😜

ive managed 4000+ steps today, so feel rather happy. Not sure it’ll happen tomorrow if the predicted storms appear. Time will tell.

Had a wander around the garden ... filled up birdbath and uncovered the French beans so the can have an April Shower. We’ll cover them up again in a bit cos it’s not really that warm out there ...

Just having some cinnamon buns before heading off to work.
