I tell a lie!  There was half a mil in the rain gauge.😏
im not sure where else it landed. The paths and garden don’t look any different.

Back from shopping. Amazing both Aldi and Coles had toilet rolls. First time I’ve seen them in about 6 weeks.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
a much better night pain-wise, only waking a couple of times ... then I slept until coffee arrived at 8am 😀

Hope @chicky ‘s family all slept peacefully and that Chicklet is soon back in the nest.

Good to hear that the Hosta-baby is no longer giving concern 😊

our thoughts are with those whose loved ones are  unwell.

Today is sunny and seems warmer ... today we will be moving the mini poly tunnel cloche so it can be warming up the soil ready  for the French beans to go out in a few days’ time.

Thank you @Busy-Lizzie :) ... of course, I had to go and spoil it by trying to fork over the bit of the veg patch where the french beans are going later this week after the polytunnel cloche has had a chance to warm the soil up a bit ... OH took the fork out of my hand and finished the job, sending me indoors where I tried to prep supper and spilt a jar of polenta over the floor by knocking it over reaching for the rice ... OH has cleared up that mess too and sent me to the sofa <ashamed smiley>

Just seen my first Swallow, a joyous event. Every year I seem to doubt they will come back, but COVID or not, at least one is back.

Afternoon all,  I've been in the garden for most of the day, a large portion of which was spent sitting on a lounger reading a book  I did manage some weeding and tied in some of the climbers as it's been very blustery here.  Have had a long chat with Bestie and Secondborn on the phone.  She must have got hold of some flour as she's making Jonah's birthday cake for tomorrow when he is 4.  Can't believe he will be going to school in September, well if it is open by then.
My brother sent a text message to ask if I knew if mum's care home was still Covid free.  I had to phone and tell him that it wasn't.  I explained that I hadn't told anyone about the letter I had received as no one could do anything but that I wasn't going to tell a lie to a direct question.  He was fine about it and understood my reasons for staying quiet.

I hope the home is keeping people well away from the infected person @Yviestevie

    Summer Hosta? It's only April!

I have painted the 4th wall but it will need a 2nd coat.
