What a lovely idea @AuntyRach I hope that your tree ends up full of leaves
It was supposed to be my day off today but I have been asked to go in. It is fine, I dont mind but I think subconsciously, I was gearing up for a little lie in as I found it so difficult to get up this morning.
I am enjoying these video calls on What's App and Zoom. Since this lock down started I have had several calls with several different friends. I had a call last night with a friend and I thought it would be a quick half and hour. Nearly 3 hours later we were still yapping 😂😂 I must say we did have a giggle and a very good catch up.
When this situation is over, I dont think there will be a going back to normal in the normal we knew before this. Some things will change, alter and not be done anymore. I really hope that the number of video calls carry on rather than texting or what's apping. Over the past few weeks, we have had quizzes, we had a Saturday night in (with a few drinks, dancing, gossip, another quiz), a few brews with my friends who I meet for tea and cake.
Thinking of all those with worries and cares ((hugs))
It’s a damp morning but not raining ... the sky is brightening ... Think a bit of pricking out is on the cards .., I may also sow the runner beans ... 🌱 🌱 🌱
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all. Hugs to all, especially @Yviestevie and @punkdoc. More rain today and brisk breeze. So glad I got the grass cut on Monday, and Hubby got all 73 Agapanthus out of the tunnel .
Morning all - break in the rain here. Hopefully that means I won’t have to queue in the SM carpark in the rain ☔️. We have had enough rain to collect about 6 inches of water in our new cattle trough 💦💦💦
Watched the Swan Lake @Hostafan1 recommended yesterday ......amazing 😃. And Twelfth Night the previous night - also really good. Becoming a culture vulture 🤣
Glad you enjoyed your virtual catchups @PurpleRose - they do work surprisingly well I agree 👍🏻.
We saw Swan Lake last year. I've waited years to see it and loved it. I'd have paid and gone back the next night to see it again had there been any spare tickets.
Weather very changeable, definitely April showers kid of weather ...greenhouse work I think, lots of my little seedlings are doing really well, might try and pot on. Cosmos, Zinnia, Rudbeckia and Marigolds, just some annual fillers for the flowerbeds but all very colourful.
Best wishes to everyone, thinking of everyone with family worries, so horrible.

So sorry to hear your news @Yviestevie.
